Four Local Companies Dispatched
A Signal for Export Beginner Companies Entering Overseas Markets
Yangsan City in South Gyeongsang Province has taken its first successful step with the 'O2O (Online to Offline) Overseas Marketing Support Project for Export Beginner Companies,' which was launched for the first time this year to actively support the overseas market entry of export beginner companies.
As part of this project, Yangsan City dispatched four local companies to the '2025 Vietnam International Premium Consumer Goods Exhibition (VIPREMIUM)' held in Ho Chi Minh City, where they engaged in export consultations with buyers, local online marketing, and influencer live broadcasts.

This exhibition was held from June 5 to June 8 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. With participation from over 200 domestic and international companies related to consumer goods, it is considered one of the largest consumer goods exhibitions in Vietnam.
In particular, the event provided significant opportunities for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to enter the Southeast Asian consumer market in fields such as beauty, household goods, and health functional foods.
The four companies from Yangsan City that participated were: Tako (wet tissues), Pocell (cosmetics), Uart Korea (cosmetics), and KJI Industry Co., Ltd. (foot patches). Through this project, it is expected that export contracts worth approximately $4,631,250 may be concluded in the future through one-on-one consultations and MOUs with genuine overseas buyers.
In addition, brand awareness was raised through online promotional content, such as TikTok live broadcasts, which garnered about 6,000 views. Positive outcomes are also anticipated in follow-up meetings after export consultations.
Furthermore, as part of the exhibition, Uart Korea and Pocell products passed the first round of evaluation by domestic and international buyers for the 'Best Product Award,' and a separate exhibition space was provided for them.
Notably, Pocell achieved the significant accomplishment of being selected as the final third-place winner at the awards ceremony held on June 7. This award is given based on a comprehensive evaluation of excellent quality, suitability for the local market, and design competitiveness. The three winning companies are offered various benefits, including preferential exposure through local media interviews, additional live broadcasts, and invitations to follow-up consultation sessions. This achievement is seen as a symbolic recognition of the competitiveness and appeal of Yangsan City companies' products in the Vietnamese market.
Bae Mikyung, CEO of Uart Korea, who participated in the exhibition, stated, "Participating in overseas exhibitions is not just about meeting buyers; it is a valuable opportunity to directly confirm the awareness and growth potential of our products in the local market. Through this project, we were able to confirm positive prospects for entering the Vietnamese market, and I hope that Yangsan City's active export support programs will lead to even more export opportunities in the future."
An official from Yangsan City emphasized, "This project is significant in that it actively supported the on-site entry of export beginner companies with little overseas market experience. In particular, winning the Best Product Award is an achievement that demonstrates the technological prowess and product competitiveness of Yangsan companies in the local market, and it will serve as a bridgehead for pioneering the global market in the future."
Based on these achievements, Yangsan City plans to systematically expand its annual overseas marketing support projects focused on emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, and to strengthen customized marketing support systems tailored to each company's export capabilities.
