The company announced that a volunteer group composed of Hyundai Engineering employees, university students, and skilled technicians will carry out home repair volunteer activities for 40 old houses in Seoul throughout the month of June. On June 7, the group visited 10 old houses in Gangbuk, Nowon, and Dobong districts to perform wallpapering, install floor coverings, and replace items such as kitchen and bathroom tiles and lighting fixtures. This year, the company is participating in the Seoul City Residential Safety Companion public-private partnership project, working to improve living conditions for those who fall through the cracks of existing public welfare standards. Since 2015, the company has repaired 42 old houses nationwide and donated 40 modular homes as part of its residential environment improvement project for vulnerable groups.
