Order Three Times on Public Delivery App 'Daeguro' and Receive a 10,000 Won Coupon... Daegu City Launches 65 Billion Won Initiative

The citizen lifestyle platform 'Daeguro', which aims to reduce commission burdens for small business owners in the Daegu area and provide various benefits to citizens, will launch a public delivery app consumer coupon event starting June 10.

This event, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, was organized to support small business owners struggling with high commissions from private delivery apps by promoting the use of public delivery apps. At the same time, it seeks to boost dining-out consumption and help revive the stagnant economy.

'Daeguro' 10,000 Won Coupon Promotional Material

To participate, users do not need to apply separately. If they place three food delivery or takeout orders of at least 20,000 won each (including delivery fees) through 'Daeguro', a 10,000 won coupon will be automatically issued on the first day of the following month. This coupon can be used for payments of 20,000 won or more on 'Daeguro'.

Orders placed between June 1 and June 9 will also be retroactively recognized as eligible. There is no daily limit on the number of orders, but only one coupon will be issued per person per month. Users can easily check their individual progress toward meeting the requirements on the stamp coupon screen within the 'Daeguro' app.

In particular, 'Daeguro' offers a triple discount exclusive to its platform, as users can combine this consumer coupon with other benefits such as daily discount coupons (ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 won) and a 5% discount when paying with Daeguro Pay or Onnuri Gift Certificates.

Daegu City plans to actively encourage the use of the public delivery app, which has lower intermediary fees, through this event. The goal is to reduce management burdens for small business owners and alleviate the cost of dining out for consumers.

The event will continue until the government budget of 65 billion won is exhausted, and active participation from Daegu citizens is expected to greatly contribute to revitalizing the local economy.

Meanwhile, 'Daeguro' has achieved 600,000 cumulative members, 203.4 billion won in order volume, and 21,000 affiliated stores, contributing to greater convenience for both citizens and small business owners. Since establishing a payment system for child meal cards in 2023, it has also supported delivery fees for approximately 320,000 cases involving underprivileged children, taking a leading role in community contribution.
