Lotte Mart and Lotte Super Offer Limited Sale of Fans in the 10,000 Won Range... Lowest Price in 25 Years

Lotte Mart and Lotte Super announced on June 9 that they are introducing electric fans priced in the 10,000 won range for the first time in 25 years.

Since June 5, Lotte Mart and Lotte Super have been offering a limited sale of the "Fujimaru·Yupa 14-inch Fan (55W)" for 19,900 won. A 14-inch fan in the 10,000 won price range has not been available at Lotte Mart since 1999, making this the first time in about 25 years that such a product is being offered. The fan is equipped with core features commonly used at home, such as oscillation, adjustable height, and three-speed wind control, focusing on practical specifications as standard features.

This promotion offers both online and offline lowest prices, approximately 50% cheaper than the market price. Customers can purchase the product at all Lotte Mart locations when paying with the event card, and Lotte Super is also selling it at the same price. Lotte Mart and Lotte Super began advance negotiations with manufacturers about three months ago to set the sales price, and secured 1,500 units for the event, more than three times the amount compared to the previous year.

From June 12 to June 25, Lotte Mart and Lotte Super will exclusively offer the "Lezen Circulator-Type 14-inch Fan (45W)" for 29,900 won. This specially planned product was finalized after about nine months of specification adjustments and sample testing. The responsible merchandiser designed all specifications, including button placement, blade count and transparency, and the matte finish of the body, as exclusive models for Lotte Mart and Lotte Super. The product features a "circulator mesh," which is currently popular among consumers and enhances air circulation. A total of 3,500 units will be available at a special discounted price.

Lee Seoyoung, merchandiser for the Lifestyle Team at Lotte Mart and Lotte Super, said, "Despite rising costs and logistics expenses, we prepared in advance to provide customers with tangible price benefits," adding, "Since fans in the 10,000 won range are extremely rare, we hope many customers can enjoy a cool summer thanks to this offer."
