The Daegu city government will be recruiting young participants for the career education program "Daegu Youth School Ddangil," which aims to open up new career possibilities for young people, from June 11 to June 26, 2025.
"Daegu Youth School Ddangil" is an educational program designed for local youth who are considering their career paths and direction in life. Youth organizations open departments to offer unique career experiences, broaden career choices, and present diverse life models for participants.
This year, ten departments will be offered, including "Brand Creation," "Earth Observation," "Focus Adjustment," "Life Weaving with Threads," "I Am Also a Theater Actor," "I Am Also a Farmer," "What Shall We Make Today," "Stained Glass Making," "I Am Also a Published Author," and "I Am Also a Musical Actor."
A total of 150 young people will be recruited, with 15 participants in each department. The classes will be held once a week for eight weeks, starting in July.
Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 39 who reside in Daegu. Applications will be accepted in the order of submission and completion of the 50,000 won participation fee payment. The participation fee will be refunded to students who complete the course.
Park Yunhee, Director of Youth and Women's Education at Daegu City, stated, "'Daegu Youth School Ddangil' is a program designed to help young people who are struggling to find their career paths and aptitudes to plan for their future and discover various talents." She added, "We expect this program to be a valuable opportunity for local youth who are considering their career paths and aptitudes."
