Under the agreement, Geumcheon District and Coupang Eats Service will jointly support free motorcycle inspections for delivery workers and carry out various activity programs, such as campaigns and education to improve public awareness of delivery workers. On the day of the signing ceremony, Coupang Eats Service and the Korea Motorcycle Maintenance Association will participate to conduct safety inspections on 100 regular motorcycles and 30 electric motorcycles, and will provide free replacement services for consumables such as engine oil and brake pads.

On the same day at 2:00 p.m., the "Safe Delivery Culture Promotion Campaign" will be held at the entrance of Pilseung Apartment in Geumcheon District. The Geumcheon District Office, Geumcheon Police Station, the Western Chapter of the Delivery Platform Workers' Union, and the Seoul branch of the Korea Road Traffic Authority will jointly participate in the campaign, which will focus on promoting a safe delivery culture and encouraging compliance with traffic safety rules. The first 30 participants in the campaign will each receive a G-Valley gift certificate worth 10,000 won.

In addition, on June 26 and 27, the district will run a safety education program for local delivery workers. The program will cover practical topics such as traffic laws for preventing motorcycle accidents, the importance of wearing safety gear, and how to respond in case of an accident. Those who complete the training will be reimbursed for the purchase of safety equipment, up to 100,000 won.

Yoo Seonghun, Mayor of Geumcheon District, stated, "As demand for delivery services increases, there is growing social interest in the safety of delivery workers, and we are expanding administrative support for this. We will continue to work with the local community to establish a culture of labor safety."
