According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the minimum temperature on the morning of June 8 will range from 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, and the maximum daytime temperature will range from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius, which is similar to or slightly higher than the average for this time of year. In some inland areas of North Chungcheong and Gyeongsang, the maximum perceived temperature could exceed 31 degrees Celsius.
Most parts of the country will be mostly cloudy, with periods of increased cloudiness in the afternoon. Jeju Island is expected to receive 5 to 10 millimeters of rain from June 7 through the afternoon of June 8.
There will be showers in the afternoon and evening in the southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland Chungcheong, eastern North Jeolla, most of North Gyeongsang except for the east coast, and northwestern inland South Gyeongsang. Expected rainfall from these showers is 5 to 30 millimeters in North Chungcheong and eastern North Jeolla, and 5 to 20 millimeters in the southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, most of Daegu and North Gyeongsang except for the east coast, and northwestern inland South Gyeongsang.
From late night on June 7 to the morning of June 8, dense fog with visibility under 200 meters will form mainly along the west coast. Some regions may also experience light drizzle. In other areas, fog may reduce visibility to less than 1 kilometer.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide. However, in Seoul and southern Gyeonggi, residual fine dust and domestically generated fine dust may accumulate due to stagnant air and converging air currents, causing air quality to temporarily reach 'bad' levels in the morning.
Waves in the seas off the east, west, and south coasts are expected to range from 0.5 to 1.0 meters. In the outer seas (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are expected to reach 0.5 to 1.5 meters in all seas, including the East Sea, West Sea, and South Sea.
