The Cause of the Wildfire Is Under Investigation
At approximately 3:34 p.m. on June 6, a fire broke out on a hillside in Soheul-eup, Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, and the main blaze was brought under control in about one hour.
According to fire and forestry authorities, two firefighting helicopters, 37 pieces of equipment, and 152 personnel were deployed, and the main fire was extinguished at around 4:37 p.m. that day.
No casualties were reported.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the wildfire and the extent of the damage.
