Gwangju University Business Administration Department Operates Nationally Certified ERP Certification Program

The Department of Business Administration at Gwangju University is working to maximize the practical skills of its enrolled students through close collaboration with the Management Consulting Service Center, which is being operated in line with the university’s “one department, one center” policy.

According to Gwangju University on June 6, the Department of Business Administration recently operated a preparation class for the ERP Information Manager certification under the guidance of Professor Kyungjong Park. More than 20 students participated in this program, which combined theory and practice in an optimal educational environment established within the Management Consulting Service Center.

The ERP Information Manager certification is a nationally recognized qualification that certifies professionals who can operate and analyze integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for accounting, human resources, logistics, and more. Students who obtain this certification can advance into a wide range of industries, including large corporations, mid-sized companies, accounting firms, IT consulting firms, logistics and distribution companies, and specialized ERP firms.

In particular, those who have a strong understanding of practical systems are highly valued as competitive talent in departments such as business planning, financial management, and human resources management. In fact, out of the 20 students who participated in this preparation course, 14 took the ERP Information Manager exam and are awaiting the results, which will be announced on June 12.

Professor Kyungjong Park stated, “Obtaining a professional certification is a key factor not only for academic achievement but also for enhancing adaptability in the field and employability.” He added, “The ERP Information Manager certification preparation class will be operated on a regular basis with ongoing cooperation and support from both the Department of Business Administration and the Management Consulting Service Center.”
