Kyungbok University held the "33rd Anniversary Ceremony and Udang Award Presentation" on the 5th at Udang Art Hall on the 1st floor of the Cultural Center at Namyangju Campus.
Kyungbok University presented the Udang Award to Kim Taekhung, Director of the General Affairs Office, in recognition of his contributions to the university's development through the practice of sound financial management and organizational innovation. The university also presented awards to departments and faculty members who achieved outstanding results in employment rate, student retention rate, and industry-academic revenue.

In his commemorative address, President Jeon Jiyong stated, "Over the past 33 years, Kyungbok University has achieved remarkable growth both physically and academically, thanks to the dedication of our faculty and staff." He added, "The recent accreditation of our institution and our selection for the Gyeonggi-do RISE project are achievements that demonstrate the university's competitiveness."
He also emphasized, "Innovation across all areas of education and administration is needed to keep pace with changes in artificial intelligence (AI) and the global environment," and promised, "We will continue our efforts to develop Kyungbok University into an internationally recognized institution."
