Daewoo E&C Employees Donate 50 Million Won to Children's Organizations and Others

Daewoo E&C announced on June 5 that it has donated a total of 50 million won to 10 organizations in need of social support, including children, pediatric cancer patients, and people with disabilities. This donation was made after the company exceeded its initial step-count goal during the company-wide "Together Eusseuk (ESG) Donation Challenge" held over the past month. Around 2,000 Daewoo E&C employees participated, collectively achieving 530 million steps?126% of the original goal. On average, each employee walked about 250,000 steps. Out of 40 candidate organizations nominated by employees, 10 were selected to receive the donations. A company representative stated, "Since the donation amount was determined by the total number of steps, this created a sense of unity that enabled us to surpass our goal."
