Gyeongnam Eastern Patriots and Veterans Office Launches Taegukgi Flag Campaign on Shinyang City Buses in Changwon

June Commemorates Patriots and Veterans Month
Honoring the Noble Sacrifice of Fallen Heroes

On June 4, the Gyeongnam Eastern Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs launched a campaign to attach promotional Taegukgi flags to Shinyang Passenger city buses in Changwon. This initiative was held in commemoration of June, the Month of Patriots and Veterans, to honor the noble spirit of sacrifice of the nation's fallen heroes and patriots and to foster a spirit of patriotism among the public.

This Taegukgi promotion campaign was designed so that citizens could naturally reflect on the meaning of patriotism in their daily lives. It targeted major city buses operating within the region.


Kim Sangwoo, head of the regional office, stated, "Even though it is just a small Taegukgi, the meaning it holds is never small," and added, "We will continue to promote the significance of patriots and veterans through various means and carry on patriotism campaigns together with citizens."


Meanwhile, in addition to this campaign, the Gyeongnam Eastern Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs plans to hold several public participation events that allow people to experience patriots and veterans affairs in their daily lives. These include: a drawing contest for the Month of Patriots and Veterans in Gimhae on June 6; the "Patriotism Adventure" event in collaboration with Robot Land on June 14; the 3rd Masan Defense Battle Academic Conference on June 11; and the Changwon Patriots Poetry Recitation Concert on June 25.
