Professor Kim Boseong of the Department of Basic Liberal Arts at Dong-Eui University received the Best Oral Presentation Award in the oral presentation category at the "2025 Korean Society for Emotion and Sensibility Spring Conference," which was held at Korea National Open University for two days starting May 30.
Professor Kim analyzed emotion-based course evaluation data from students and actual dropout rate data in his paper, "A Study on Measures to Reduce College Dropout Rates Using Course Evaluation," and proposed strategies to decrease college student dropout rates.
At this conference, a total of 70 papers were presented, including 51 oral presentations and 19 poster presentations.
The Korean Society for Emotion and Sensibility is an academic society that has continued to conduct interdisciplinary research in the field of emotion and holds academic conferences both domestically and internationally every year.
