Chungnam Office of Education Seeks Public Input on Next Year's Education Policies and Budget Allocation

The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced on June 4 that it will conduct a "Resident Opinion Survey" for one month from June 4 to July 3, 2025. The survey aims to ensure active participation of local residents in the process of establishing education policies and budgets for 2026, and to broadly gather and reflect diverse opinions.

The survey consists of a total of 20 questions and allows respondents to directly select policy priorities in 15 major education policy areas, including satisfaction with education policies, the five major transformation tasks for the future of education in Chungnam, satisfaction within the educational community, and the promotion of creative and convergent education.

The Provincial Office of Education plans to focus on identifying and reflecting key areas that should be considered in budget allocation, with an emphasis on incorporating education policies that local residents can tangibly experience.

Any resident can participate in the survey, which is accessible via computer or smartphone through notification windows (QR codes) on the Chungnam Office of Education website or the websites of individual schools.

The results of the survey will be thoroughly reviewed by the relevant departments and the Resident Participatory Budget Committee after the survey concludes, and will be actively reflected and implemented in the 2026 budget allocation and the establishment of major education policies.

Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol stated, "By reflecting the diverse opinions of the educational community, including schools and local communities, in our policies, we will realize a more efficient and transparent education budget for Chungnam."
