The certification ceremony was held at SKC's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the same day, with Yunhoe Kim, Head of Compliance Division at SKC, and Eunju Hwang, CEO of KMR, the ISO certification audit institution, in attendance. 'ISO 37301' is an international certification granted to organizations with a global-level compliance management system, evaluating their internal control framework, ethics, and compliance culture.

Previously, in 2023, SKC obtained the 'ISO 37001' certification, the international standard for anti-bribery management systems. With the addition of the 'ISO 37301' certification, SKC has once again been recognized for its ongoing efforts to advance its ethical and compliance management systems.

Following the SK Group's direction of aiming for a management system at the level of leading global companies, SKC has designated relevant organizations as key management areas and has worked to identify the laws and regulations applicable to each department. The company has also revised and updated major regulations and operational manuals, thereby improving its compliance control environment.

SKC plans to further advance its compliance management system by establishing dedicated organizations and consultative bodies. The company also intends to expand educational activities, including major fair trade training, to enhance employees' awareness.

An SKC representative stated, "With this compliance management system certification, we have established a foundation for strengthening compliance management over the mid- to long-term," adding, "We will continue our efforts to practice fair and transparent management and to become a more trusted company."
