Gwangju Employers Federation Strengthens Corporate Competitiveness with 'Member Company Support Day'

Gwangju Employers Federation Strengthens Corporate Competitiveness with 'Member Company Support Day'

Since March, the Gwangju Employers Federation has designated every Wednesday as a day to support member companies, listening to their concerns and providing various customized free consulting services and support for the root industry, which have received a strong response from small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.

According to the Gwangju Employers Federation on June 4, the organization currently has 807 member companies. Executive Vice Chairman Kim Dongchan and other executives and staff have so far focused on organizational stability, attracting national funding projects, and facilitating exchanges among member companies. However, there has been a lack of substantial and meaningful support for member companies. By strengthening its professional workforce, the federation is now establishing itself as a stable public interest corporation and is providing on-site, free consulting to help member companies enhance their competitiveness and grow into global enterprises.

The federation plans to expand its free consulting support program in the future, aiming to contribute to the growth and improvement of its member companies. To date, the main support initiatives on the 'Member Company Support Day' have included: guidelines for preparing business proposals for public contests, methods for communicating with the MZ generation and resolving conflicts among colleagues, procedures for conducting in-house events, promotion and marketing strategies, friendly service and corporate image management, and ESG management.

Chairman Yang Jinseok stated, "Member companies have faced many difficulties due to the tariff war during the second Trump administration and the presidential martial law, but through the Friday breakfast forum and Member Company Support Day, we have shared challenges and found fulfillment in our efforts to achieve results." He added, "Now, with the birth of a new Republic of Korea, we will once again focus all our efforts on revitalizing the local economy and strengthening corporate competitiveness."
