Haeundae Library to Host Family Nighttime Reading Experience "June Moonlight Playground"

Busan Metropolitan Haeundae Library (Director Noh Jangseok) will host the nighttime reading program "June Moonlight Playground" at 6:00 p.m. on June 18, 2025, inside the library. The event is open to ten families, each with children from preschool age up to third grade in elementary school.

This event is an experiential reading program designed to promote a family-oriented reading culture. It provides an opportunity for parents and children to read books together and share the joy of reading through various activities.

The main program includes free reading and sharing impressions on the theme of the environment, as well as hands-on post-reading activities. In addition, during the upcycling activity, children will make "flower keyrings" using sock yarn, while guardians will have time to create "tea coasters."

Families wishing to participate can refer to the Haeundae Library website or contact the library's Reading Culture Department for more information.

Director Noh Jangseok said, "I hope this event will be an opportunity for families to learn the importance of the environment together and to strengthen their emotional bonds through reading."
