June 12-13 at Gochang Cultural Center
Gochang County in North Jeolla Province announced on June 4 that the performance "Flower of Shinmyeong - Heonhwaga" by the Samulnori master Kim Deoksu's Samulnori troupe will be held at the Gochang Cultural Center on June 12 and 13.

"Flower of Shinmyeong - Heonhwaga" consists of two acts over two performances. On June 12, at 7:30 p.m., Kim Deoksu and top artists with exceptional skills, including the Samulnori Jinsoe, will present a full Samulnori performance featuring Mungut, Binari, Samdo Seoljanggu, Samdo Nongak, and Pangut.
On June 13, at 6:00 p.m., under the theme "Kim Deoksu and Friends," a collaborative performance will be showcased, featuring special guests from various genres such as Lee Bonggeun, the Hansan Band, and dancer Kim Ri-hye, all based on traditional music.
This performance was selected for the 2025 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Support Project by the Arts Management Support Center. The event is hosted by the Arts Management Support Center and organized by Arts Forest Co., Ltd. and the Gochang Cultural Center.
Tickets are priced at 10,000 won, with a special discount for Gochang residents at 3,000 won (1,500 won for youth). Ticket reservations open at 9:00 a.m. on June 5.
