Dong-Eui College Professor Je Jaeyong Appointed as Disaster Expert Committee Member at TBN Busan Transportation Broadcasting

Professor Je Jaeyong of the Department of Radiology at Dong-Eui College (President Kim Youngdo) was appointed as a disaster expert committee member at the 'TBN Busan Transportation Broadcasting Disaster Expert Committee Appointment Ceremony' held on May 27 and 28.

The appointment ceremony was attended by Busan Transportation Broadcasting Director Kim Haeju and other broadcasting officials. A total of 11 disaster expert committee members were officially launched to prevent disasters in the Busan area and to ensure the rapid dissemination of information. The committee consists of disaster experts who will respond quickly to various disasters such as fires, safety accidents, and typhoons that occur on a daily basis, in order to protect the lives and property of citizens.

The disaster expert committee will provide disaster information by field, deliver information in the event of a disaster, and conduct promotional activities for disaster prevention. Through these efforts, the committee aims to strengthen the regional disaster response system and safety network, and to enhance the public interest and expertise of disaster broadcasting.

Professor Je Jaeyong stated, "As a disaster expert committee member in the fields of nuclear power and radiation, I will strive to deliver accurate information to citizens and to establish a response system for radiation safety in the southeastern region."
