Consecutively Selected as a Fuel Joint Procurement Supplier by the Public Procurement Service
Collaboration with the 'OilNow' App... Enhanced Search Convenience
Supporting Fuel Supply to Over 10,000 Public Institutions Nationwide
S-Oil has partnered with the 'OilNow' app to introduce a real-time location service, making it easier for public institution vehicles to find gas stations. This move follows S-Oil's consecutive selection as a fuel joint procurement supplier by the Public Procurement Service, ensuring a stable fuel supply to public institutions nationwide.
On June 4, S-Oil announced that it is officially launching a location-based service to enhance fuel use convenience for vehicles of public institutions across the country. Having been selected as a supplier for the fuel joint procurement program managed by the Public Procurement Service, S-Oil will supply fuel to approximately 10,300 public institutions through about 1,800 partner gas stations nationwide over the next three years. The company was highly evaluated for its stable supply chain and its ongoing commitment to managing product quality, based on its brand value of providing 'good fuel.'
In April, S-Oil was selected for the '6th Fuel Joint Procurement Program' led by the Public Procurement Service. This program is designed to enable national agencies, local governments, and public institutions to purchase quality-assured fuel in a stable manner. Following its selection as a supplier for the 5th program, which runs from 2022 to 2025, S-Oil has once again been chosen as a supplier, reaffirming its reliability.
Additionally, to further improve convenience for public institution vehicle operations, S-Oil is operating a location-based map service in collaboration with the 'OilNow' app. Users can check the real-time locations of nearby partner gas stations through the app and utilize additional features such as price comparison and navigation integration.
An S-Oil representative stated, "As a trusted energy and chemical company, we will continue to expand the supply of high-quality fuel and digital customer convenience services for both public and private sectors," adding, "We will also strengthen consumer benefits by expanding our partnership with the 'OilNow' app in the future."
