FISITA is the world's largest federation of automotive engineering societies, with participation from 36 countries and approximately 210,000 automotive researchers as members. Every two years, the conference brings together around 2,000 leaders and experts from the global mobility industry to share technologies and strengthen networking.

Notably, Changhwan Kim, Vice President in charge of Electrification Energy Solutions at Hyundai Motor Company and Kia, has become the first Korean to be elected as President of FISITA, beginning his two-year term this month. As FISITA President, Vice President Kim will chair the board of directors and committees of the automotive engineering society. Accordingly, Hyundai Motor Group participated as the sole prime partner at this conference, presenting its vision for future technologies and running exhibition programs.

Jose Munoz, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, shared Hyundai Motor Group's vision for future technologies with global mobility industry leaders and engineers during his keynote speech.

He stated, "Hyundai Motor Group is expanding the boundaries of mobility technology not only for transportation but also to create a future where humanity can move more safely and conveniently." He then introduced the current status of technology development in areas such as ▲ HMGMA's manufacturing automation systems ▲ autonomous driving ▲ battery and fuel cell systems ▲ and the HTWO hydrogen refueling stations in the United States.

In the subsequent "Conversation with Hyundai Motor Group" session, President Munoz and other key leaders from the global mobility industry freely discussed the future direction of the industry and strengthened networking. President Munoz commented, "As an engineer myself, it is very meaningful to share Hyundai Motor's journey toward future mobility development with fellow engineers."
