Busan Urban Corporation (BMC, President Shin Changho) held a 'Community Harmony Village Event' on May 30, 2025, in the area of the permanent rental apartments in the Bansong district to promote communication among residents and revitalize the community.

This event was co-hosted by Busan Urban Corporation and Bansuk Social Welfare Center, with approximately 200 residents participating.
The event featured a variety of experience booths, including a resident-participation bazaar, natural mosquito repellent making, flowerpot making, a mental health awareness campaign, and dementia screening. Residents took part in these activities, sharing an understanding of the importance of community and the need for mental health.
Handcrafted items such as coasters, keyrings, and cushions made from recycled materials were distributed for free on-site, and a bazaar was held where donated and sponsored goods were sold, providing an opportunity for neighbors to interact. All proceeds and donations from the sales will be used to support low-income households in the local community.
Shin Changho, President of Busan Urban Corporation, said, "Thanks to the voluntary participation of the residents, this became a meaningful event," and added, "We will continue to organize programs where neighbors can communicate and share warmth together."
