Gyeongbok University is promoting shared collaboration to revitalize the local community.
On June 4, Gyeongbok University announced that it had held a launch ceremony for the shared collaboration project team, KBU-NET (KBU-Namyangju Event Team), in the international conference room on the third floor of Udang Hall at the Namyangju campus at the end of last month.
This launch ceremony was planned with the aim of identifying local issues in Namyangju, actively resolving them, and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, thereby driving innovative growth and the creation of sustainable value in the region.
KBU-NET includes participation from nine departments at the university, such as the Department of Nursing, as well as affiliated institutions like the 3D Printing Center, Drone Education Center, and Digital Twin Research Institute.
Ham Dohun, head of the Gyeongbok University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, "KBU-NET is significant not only as a student participation program, but also as an important model for building cooperation that enables both the university and the local community to grow together."
