'Tent Sites' with Installed Tents See Highest Competition Rate of 270 to 1
Intense Reservation Competition for Yuldong Park Auto Camping Site Ahead of Official Opening on June 16
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Shin Sang-jin) announced on June 4 that the newly established Seongnam Yuldong Park Auto Camping Site has become extremely popular among citizens, with the first round of reservations for its temporary operation recording a maximum competition rate of 270 to 1.
In preparation for the official opening of the auto camping site on June 16, Seongnam City held the first round of reservations for temporary operation from June 7 to June 15, with applications accepted from May 28 to June 1.
Excluding 12 sites designated for campers with pets out of a total of 96, the remaining 84 sites?across five types: general auto camping, two-family, deck, tent, and deck+tent?saw a competition rate of 68 to 1 for advance reservations.
Among these, the "tent sites," where tents are installed and provided, recorded the highest competition rate: 2,431 people applied for 9 sites available for reservation on Saturday, June 14, resulting in a rate of 270 to 1.
Yuldong Park Auto Camping Site is a public camping facility where visitors can enjoy nature within the city, and it is highly accessible, even by foot.
One of its major advantages is that 14 sites come equipped with installed tents, allowing even beginners without camping equipment to use the facility easily and without burden.
A variety of additional facilities are also available, including a lawn yard, forest playground, forest experience area, color therapy garden, and a playground for pets. These amenities are expected to greatly enhance satisfaction among families and campers accompanied by pets.
Yuldong Park Auto Camping Site is located at 124-2 Yuldong, Bundang-gu (near the Saemaeul Training Center entrance road) and covers an area of 26,734 square meters, approximately four times the size of a soccer field. Official operations will begin on June 16.
Reservations for use between June 16 and June 30 will be accepted first for Seongnam citizens from June 7 to June 9.

Reservations for July will open on June 16, and from then on, reservations will be accepted twice each month?from the 1st to the 3rd and from the 16th to the 18th?for 15-day periods.
