Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Recruiting Additional Participants for Stepping Stone Job Project

Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will be accepting additional applications for participants in the "2025 Stepping Stone Job Project" until June 8.

This program is designed to support career development and job placement by providing practical work experience and customized employment support to unemployed individuals in the province.

Participants can choose between the public sector type or the private sector type, and strengthen their job competencies while working for a set period.

For the public sector type, participants work for four months at a public institution within the province. For the private sector type, participants work for three months at a social enterprise and may be offered a chance to transition to a full-time position based on the institution's evaluation.

Eligibility is limited to unemployed residents of Gyeonggi Province aged 18 or older. For the public sector type, applicants must meet additional requirements such as having a household income at or below 120% of the median income or being unemployed for six months or longer. For the private sector type, any unemployed resident of Gyeonggi Province aged 18 or older can apply without additional requirements.

Applications can be submitted online, and applicants must select either a public sector or private sector position. Based on the Gyeonggi Province living wage standard, participants will receive approximately 2.53 million won per month for 209 hours of work.

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation plans to provide tailored support such as employment counseling with dedicated job counselors and competency-building training to help participants transition to full-time positions.
