As of 8:00 a.m. on June 3, the voter turnout for the 21st presidential election was provisionally tallied at 5.7%.

According to the website of the National Election Commission, as of 8:00 a.m. on this day, 2,535,295 out of a total of 44,391,871 eligible voters had cast their ballots.
This turnout is 0.7 percentage points higher than the turnout at the same time during the 20th presidential election in 2022 (5.0%), and 0.1 percentage points higher than the turnout during the 19th presidential election in 2017 (5.6%).
By region, Daegu recorded the highest turnout at 7.1%, while Gwangju had the lowest at 3.9%.
During the early voting held on May 29 and 30, Daegu had the lowest early voting turnout at 25.63%. However, in the main vote on this day, Daegu is showing a high turnout in the early hours.
Turnout in other regions was as follows: Seoul 5.3%, Busan 4.9%, Incheon 5.9%, Daejeon 6.4%, Gyeonggi Province 6.1%, Jeonbuk 4.2%, Jeonnam 4.1%, Gyeongbuk 6.7%, and Gyeongnam 6.0%.
The turnout for early voting, as well as overseas voting, shipboard voting, and absentee voting, will be included in the tally starting from the turnout figures released at 1:00 p.m.
