Finale Rally with Family... Targeting Lee Jaemyung: "We Must Build Healthy Families"
Kim: "The People Are My Bulletproof Vest... Stop the Monstrous Dictatorship"
Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, appealed for votes on June 2, expressing regret over former President Yoon Sukyeol's 12·3 Martial Law and the resulting presidential impeachment. He called for an end to what he described as a monstrous bulletproof dictatorship and hoped that this day would mark a revolution for democracy and the economy.
At the finale rally held at Seoul Plaza in front of Seoul City Hall that afternoon, Kim said, "I want to be a president who creates happy families where every household is happy. I will be an honest president. I want to be a clean president," reiterating his commitment.
On the last day of the campaign period, Kim began his day in Jeju, then traveled through Busan, Daegu, and Daejeon before arriving in Seoul for the finale rally.
Kim took the stage together with his wife Seol Nanyeong, his daughter Dongju, his son-in-law, and his grandson and granddaughter. Kim, who has previously criticized Lee Jaemyung, the Democratic Party's presidential candidate, and Lee's family, appeared with his own family to repeatedly emphasize his integrity.

Earlier, at the Dongmun Rotary rally in Jeju, Kim wore a red tracksuit similar to the one worn by actor Park Bogum, who played the role of Yang Gwansik, a man devoted to his spouse and family in the drama "Poksak Sogasuda," highlighting the importance of family love.
Addressing supporters gathered at Seoul Plaza, Kim said, "Now, the Republic of Korea is finding the right path. We are all becoming one," and added, "We are winning. Justice is prevailing, and criminals are retreating," energizing the crowd.
According to the organizers, approximately 150,000 supporters gathered at Seoul Plaza that day, fueling the final surge of enthusiasm. As Kim appeared, supporters holding red balloons, Taegeukgi, and Stars and Stripes flags chanted "Kim Moonsoo." Some beat large drums inscribed with "Fair and Square Kim Moonsoo" to the rhythm of the chants. Among Kim's supporters, some wearing sky-blue clothing, identified as New Future Democratic Party supporters, were also seen attending the finale rally.
At the beginning of his speech, Kim directly criticized Lee and his family, stating, "A person who is facing five trials, whose entire family uses corporate credit cards freely, and whose child gambles or visits obscene websites to hurl insults should never become president."
He continued, "Some say my wife did not graduate from college, but I love my wife," and emphasized, "My wife, who has shared hardships with me and has done everything to maintain a clean public service life, never used a corporate credit card illegally." He added, "I love my daughter. My daughter does not engage in illegal gambling. My daughter does not hurl illegal obscene insults. My daughter works as a social worker and, together with her husband, is going through tough times, but I love my daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter." Referring to Lee wearing a bulletproof vest and installing bulletproof glass during the campaign, Kim remarked, "I do not wear a bulletproof vest. The people are my bulletproof vest. My conscience is my bulletproof glass."
Kim also mentioned legislative proposals promoted by the Democratic Party, such as the Yellow Envelope Act, arguing, "If Lee becomes president, even foreign companies will not invest in Korea." He stressed, "With more than 500,000 young people currently out of work, if young people cannot find jobs, cannot get married, and cannot have children, we must prevent Korea from heading in that direction."
Kim further stated, "If you cast your precious vote correctly tomorrow, the Korean economy will revive. There will be more jobs in Korea. Our self-employed, small, and medium-sized businesses will thrive and come back to life." He urged, "Each and every one of your precious votes has the great power to revive Korea's economy and livelihoods, create jobs, and help small business owners prosper." He also bowed deeply, saying, "There have been mistakes with impeachment and martial law in the past," and added, "I offer a deep bow as a promise that my family and all members of the National Assembly will pursue a different kind of politics."

At the People Power Party's finale rally, former representative Han Donghoon, who competed in the party's primary, as well as joint campaign committee chairs Ahn Cheolsoo, Na Kyungwon, and Yang Hyangja, also attended. They joined hands with Kim, emphasizing their unity as one team.
Before Kim's finale rally, Lee Nakyon, Senior Advisor of the New Future Democratic Party, who had declared his support for Kim and agreed to form a coalition government, also took the stage.
Lee stated, "We have agreed to complete a transition to a decentralized constitutional system within two years and to launch the 7th Republic within three years, with no intention of extending our terms and a commitment to step down." He criticized, "However, the Democratic Party is not considering shortening the term but rather extending it. If you finish a five-year term and run again twice, that could be 13 years. No one can say they don't dream of serving for 13 years," directly criticizing Lee and the Democratic Party.
Lee also mentioned ten reasons to vote for Kim, including the launch of the 7th Republic, mutual checks and balances between the National Assembly and the president, upholding the rule of law, ending political civil war, responding to the global order and economy, achievements during his tenure as Gyeonggi Governor, and the character of the candidate and his family.
Lee particularly emphasized, "The establishment of judicial authority is the core of democracy. However, those people (the Democratic Party) have scheduled a plenary session of the National Assembly for two days after the election," and pointed out, "They are trying to amend the very clause in the election law under which they were found guilty." He added, "If that happens, wouldn't democracy be doomed?"
After completing the finale rally at Seoul City Hall, Kim headed to the area near Hongik University in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to interact with citizens and conclude his official campaign schedule.
