Mini Concerts Every Saturday and Sunday Until the 15th
"Encouraging World Rose Festival Visitors to Return"
On June 2, Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Cho Sangrae) announced that it is holding the "Blossom Magic Fantasia Gokseong Fairy Tale Garden Mini Concert" at the Fairy Tale Garden for three weeks until June 15.
Under the theme "Gokseong Fairy Tale Garden, Blooming Flowers with Magical Fantasies," the Gokseong Fairy Tale Garden Concert, which began on May 31, is held every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. for 2 hours and 30 minutes, for a total of six sessions.
The Fairy Tale Garden, which covers an area of 330,000 square meters, is filled with white buckwheat flowers and yellow canola flowers. The county organized the concert to encourage visitors who attended the Rose Festival to return and to attract even more tourists for repeat visits.
The Gokseong Fairy Tale Garden Mini Concert will feature a performance of "Nella Fantasia," the theme from the film "The Mission," by the electronic string duo Clatric, as well as spectacular and dynamic concertos including violin and cello performances.
A county official stated, "We hope that the beautiful melodies of the Gokseong Fairy Tale Garden Mini Concert will spread widely and bring great joy and happiness to all who visit the Gokseong Fairy Tale Garden," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide a variety of unique and interesting attractions in the future."
Meanwhile, the 15th Gokseong World Rose Festival, which was held last month at the Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village area, concluded successfully with great enthusiasm, attracting 250,000 visitors.
