Chosun University Holds 'Short-Term Training' Program with Chinese Sister School

Chosun University announced on June 2 that it operated a short-term training program for 30 teachers and students from Xingre High School, its sister school in China.

This short-term training program was held over three days from May 27 to 29 in the seminar room of the International Building at Chosun University. Attendees included Kim Hyunwoo, Director of External Cooperation at Chosun University, Zhang Wangfeng, Dean of Academic Affairs at Xingre High School, as well as teachers and students from Xingre High School.

The program, designed to promote exchange and cooperation between the two schools and to strengthen students' global competencies, included a variety of activities such as cultural experiences and educational programs. Notably, Chosun University President Kim Chunseong personally welcomed the accompanying teachers from the sister school and expressed his expectations for stronger ties between the two institutions.

At the entrance ceremony held on May 28, Kim Hyunwoo, Director of External Cooperation at Chosun University, delivered a welcome speech and provided a detailed introduction to the university's history and educational environment. That evening, participants attended a performance organized by the Chosun University Student Council. On May 29, the International Cooperation Team hosted an admissions information session, offering guidance on Chosun University's academic programs and curriculum.

A representative from Chosun University stated, "Through this short-term training program, students from our sister school gained a deeper understanding of Chosun University," adding, "We expect this will serve as a positive foundation for enhancing Chosun University's recognition and influence in China."
