On the final day of the official campaign for the 21st presidential election, People Power Party candidate Kim Moonsoo began his schedule by visiting the Jeju 4·3 Peace Park, where he laid flowers and bowed his head in tribute to the victims. Despite the rainy and inclement weather, Kim, dressed in a suit, conducted the incense offering with a respectful demeanor. After paying his respects, he told reporters, "The 4·3 Incident was a painful event that occurred during the founding of the Republic of Korea, and many innocent people lost their lives. It is a national tragedy," adding, "I hope that Jeju will overcome this pain and further develop as a city of peace." Photo by Park Changwon
