The Chungnam Provincial Office of Education announced that, starting from June 2 until July 4, it will designate and operate a "Cyberbullying and Gambling Prevention Education Intensive Period" to protect students from cyberbullying and gambling and to foster a healthy school culture.

During this period, each school will independently designate a week and intensively implement a variety of programs tailored to its circumstances, including: cyberbullying and gambling prevention education linked to the curriculum; student-centered, participatory and experiential campaigns; and prevention education for faculty, staff, and guardians.

In addition, to raise awareness of the seriousness of cyberbullying and gambling issues and to build consensus, the office will also hold a best practices contest for teachers and a prevention campaign for students.

The best practices contest for teachers will allow educators to share outstanding examples of prevention activities conducted within schools?such as lessons, campaigns, and club activities?by submitting reports and educational materials.

The student campaign will utilize the student autonomy activity platform "Deullaknallak," enabling participation in prevention activities through various methods, such as the "Promotional Song Challenge Relay," soliciting ideas for cyberbullying and gambling prevention, writing pledges, and posting supportive comments.

Superintendent Kim Ji-cheol stated, "I hope this intensive prevention education period will serve as an opportunity for the entire educational community to participate together, recognize the dangers of cyberbullying and gambling, and help create a warm school culture where everyone respects and cares for one another."
