To Be Held at Harim Mission Hall, Jeonju University on June 18
Jeonju City in North Jeolla Province is openly recruiting university students to participate in "Youth Salon: Young People's Job Talk" (hereafter referred to as "Youth Salon") until June 10.
According to the city on June 2, "Youth Salon" is designed to provide a space where university students and mentors can freely communicate on a variety of topics such as career paths, employment, and entrepreneurship, while also exploring ways for local youth to settle stably in the region.

The event will be held at Harim Mission Hall at Jeonju University for 90 minutes starting at 11:30 a.m. on June 18. Jeonju Mayor Woo Beomgi and 20 mentors, including young businesspeople, will participate and meet with about 60 university students.
In particular, 20 mentors, including young startup CEOs currently participating in the Jeonju Startup Package, will join the event to listen to students' concerns about their career paths and to provide opportunities for free networking.
Specifically, this "Youth Salon" will begin with an ice-breaking quiz and a pre-event performance. During the round talk session under the theme "My Dream Job and Life in Jeonju," Mayor Woo Beomgi and three mentors will provide sincere answers to pre-submitted questions as well as concerns raised on site.
Afterwards, participants will engage in free networking through a brunch salon. Any university student in the Jeonju area who is concerned about their career path is eligible to apply, and applications can be submitted online or via QR code until June 10.
The city expects that this discussion will serve as an opportunity to share young people's concerns about their career paths and to jointly seek practical solutions that will enable local talent to settle stably in their hometown.
In addition, the city plans to strengthen ongoing communication with university students and expand opportunities to reflect young people's voices in policy, thereby laying the foundation for local settlement.
Lim Sookhee, Director of the Economic and Industrial Bureau of the city, said, "Youth Salon is a valuable opportunity to listen to young people's honest stories about their career paths and to find solutions together," and added, "We ask for the active participation of university students so that this event can become a stepping stone for a brighter future for the region."
