Woori Financial Group's Woori Financial Future Foundation announced that on May 31, it held a special lecture on "Securing Housing Through Public Housing" at the headquarters of Woori Bank in Jung-gu, Seoul, with the participation of around 100 young adults preparing for self-reliance.

Since 2023, Woori Financial Group has been implementing the "Woori ga WON hanundero" program in cooperation with the non-profit organization Cheongnyeonui Tteul, supporting young adults aged 18 to 29 who are preparing for self-reliance by providing financial mentoring and savings incentives.

For this special lecture, YouTuber Yoon Inhan, who runs the YouTube channel "Ayeongine Haengbok Jutaek," served as the instructor, explaining various public housing policies for young adults preparing for self-reliance and offering sincere advice to support their stable independence.

One young adult preparing for self-reliance who attended the lecture stated, "Among the various difficulties faced by young adults in this situation, housing is the most urgent and realistic issue," adding, "This special lecture was very helpful in resolving concerns about housing for young people like us."

Meanwhile, Woori Financial Future Foundation has been supporting young adults' preparation for self-reliance through various life-cycle programs, such as "Woori Birang Doljanchi," which celebrates the first birthday of children in childcare facilities, "Wipungdangdang Self-Reliance Kit," which provides daily necessities and home appliances to young adults preparing for self-reliance, and "Woorisai," a program that supports relationship-building between young adults and mentors from society.
