On May 30 and 31, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education held the "2025 Capacity-Building Training for Early Childhood and Elementary Education Specialists" at the Teacher Dream Center in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province. More than 150 specialists in early childhood and elementary education participated in the training.

This training was part of the strategy to realize "Together Toward the Future, Leading Busan Education," with a focus on applying inquiry-based lessons using AI-driven prompt engineering technologies.

The program began with a special lecture by Kim Jongbeom, Senior Researcher at the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. Under the theme "AI Questions Change the Classroom," the lecture shared effective ways to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into educational settings and presented cases of classroom innovation.

In the following sessions, participants gathered in groups to share and discuss ideas for on-site, practical educational support. Various opinions were exchanged, centering on the needs and practical possibilities of real school environments.

Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "This training is intended to help early childhood and elementary education specialists play a key role in the changing educational environment," adding, "We will continue to support the sustainable growth of the field and realize leading Busan education in the future."

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to continue offering systematic training for education specialists and to simultaneously promote AI-based future education and classroom innovation.
