Cultural Arts Classes Including Art Integration, Music Integration, and AI Education-Linked Programs
The Daejeon Office of Education announced that it will operate the "Hub-Type Neulbom Center Cultural Arts Program Visiting Schools" until July 11, 2025.
The program will prioritize schools in outlying areas with low accessibility to cultural arts education, as well as schools with oversized or overcrowded classes. A total of 28 elementary schools, 227 classes, and 5,179 students will participate.
The classes will consist of cultural arts lessons such as art integration and music integration, as well as AI education-linked classes. Professional instructors from the organizations entrusted with operating the hub-type Neulbom Centers will visit the schools directly to conduct the classes. In particular, the AI education-linked classes will focus on strengthening core future competencies by utilizing tools such as LEGO Education SPIKE.
Kim Okse, Director of Education Policy at the Daejeon Office of Education, stated, "This program provides a valuable opportunity for professional instructors to visit schools in person and help students develop both their artistic talents and creativity," adding, "There are also plans in place to provide additional support for classes that were not selected this time."
