Deductible of 10,000 KRW Excluded
Annual Coverage Limit of 500,000 KRW
Carrot General Insurance announced on June 2 that it has launched a pet insurance product exclusively for cats, called "Silbi Club Cat," in collaboration with the pet commerce company AboutPet.
This is the second product in the Silbi Club series, following the launch of the dog insurance product "Silbi Club Orange" last year, marking a return after one year.
Silbi Club Cat is a membership-based insurance product that covers the entire cost of veterinary treatment, excluding a deductible of 10,000 KRW per visit, up to an annual limit of 500,000 KRW, in cases where cats require hospital visits due to illness or injury.
With an affordable monthly subscription fee of 9,900 KRW, cat owners can efficiently manage their pets' health. There is no daily compensation limit, so even if hospital visits are infrequent, maximum coverage is provided when needed.
In addition, the policy covers common urinary and kidney diseases in cats. There is also a special rider that provides financial support for finding lost cats, designed to alleviate both emotional and financial burdens in the event of a disappearance.
A Carrot General Insurance representative stated, "We focused on developing a product that provides practical coverage that owners can truly feel in their daily lives," adding, "We will continue to introduce insurance services that are closely connected to our customers' lifestyles."
