On June 2, SK Magic announced the launch of its 'Ultra-Compact Plus Direct Water Purifier,' which features significantly enhanced performance and design, and revealed that it is holding a commemorative promotion to mark the release.
The newly launched product measures 164mm in width, 395mm in depth, and 345mm in height, reducing its volume to about 60% compared to previous SK Magic models. With its small and slim design, roughly the size of an adult's palm, the purifier is ideal not only for customers who hesitate to purchase a water purifier due to limited installation space, but also for one- to two-person households, newlyweds, and those pursuing a minimalist lifestyle.
The product is available in two colors: Natural White and Neutral Silver. It features an intuitive, premium display for enhanced user convenience, a 'moving cock' function that adjusts according to the height of the container to reduce water splashing, and a 'water dispensing guide light' for easy use even at night.
The water flow path is made entirely of all-stainless steel, which is highly resistant to contamination, corrosion, and bacteria, allowing safe use of hot water at temperatures up to approximately 100°C. Additionally, SK Magic has applied a stainless steel vacuum system for the first time in Korea, achieving both hygiene and energy efficiency. Through a vacuum insulation structure, the product size has been reduced and energy consumption has been cut by up to 50%. Stainless steel is also used inside the cooling system to further enhance hygiene.
Eco-friendly elements have been actively incorporated throughout the product's design, reducing plastic usage by about 18% and styrofoam (EPS) usage by up to 96% compared to previous models. This minimizes environmental impact while also practicing ESG management focused on sustainability.
The 'Self Triple Care' system automatically manages the interior of the purifier with direct water pipe electrolyzed water care (every 5 days), cock UV care (every 2 hours), and water flow circulation care (every 2 hours), while also allowing for additional sterilization. Parts that are exposed and prone to contamination, such as the dispensing cock and clean edge, can be detached and washed, ensuring the product remains clean and hygienic at all times.
The dispensing capacity can be set in four stages, from 120ml to 1,000ml of continuous dispensing, with fine adjustments possible in 10ml increments. The purifier can also provide water at four customized temperatures for various uses: baby water (approximately 45~55°C), tea (approximately 70°C), hot water (approximately 85°C), and high-temperature water (approximately 100°C).
The core of the purifier, its filter system, uses a total of six-stage filtration, including a pre-block carbon filter (for removing foreign substances and disinfection by-products) and a composite nano PAC filter (for removing microorganisms, bacteria, and odors). This effectively eliminates harmful bacteria and viruses in the water while maintaining its taste and mineral content. SK Magic offers its expert visit cleaning service, '安心 OK Service,' at intervals of either four months (visit management type) or twelve months (self-management type), depending on customer preference.
