Kia Unveils Futuristic Mobile Office in Collaboration with LG Electronics

Participation in EV Trend Korea 2025

Kia announced on June 2 that it will participate in 'EV Trend Korea 2025' to unveil its vision for future mobility. The company will showcase its first Purpose Built Vehicle (PBV), the PV5 Passenger model, as well as the 'PV5 Schpiraum Studio' concept car, a futuristic mobile office developed in collaboration with LG Electronics.

Now in its eighth year, EV Trend Korea is the only electric vehicle expo in Seoul, organized by the Ministry of Environment to promote the wider adoption of electric vehicles and foster a new EV culture. This year, the event will be held from June 3 to June 5 at COEX in Seoul.

At this event, Kia will present a variety of customized mobility experiences centered on the PV5 Passenger, PV5 Schpiraum Studio, and EV4, aiming to deliver innovative experiences for customers' daily lives and businesses.

The PV5 Passenger, which Kia is exhibiting at the event, is the first vehicle developed under Kia's PBV business strategy. Featuring a purpose-customized vehicle structure and advanced technologies, the PV5 is designed for a wide range of uses, including mobility services, logistics, and leisure activities.

The PV5 Schpiraum Studio, developed in collaboration with LG Electronics, is a concept car for mobile office use, equipped with PBV-customized space solutions. Outfitted with LG Electronics' AI home appliances such as a Styler, smart mirror, and coffee machine, it provides an optimal mobile workspace for the growing number of freelancers and remote workers.

Additionally, Kia has prepared a distinctive exhibition space for this event. In the 'Tailor your EV' area, visitors can use the 'Choose your EV' content to freely select their preferred EV and customize both interior and exterior colors to create a personalized EV. The 'Kia Connect Store' content allows visitors to experience various features such as KBO display themes, streaming premium, arcade games, and lighting patterns.

Through the 'PV5 in Your Business' content, Kia will introduce various business models utilizing the PV5, and the PV5 Digital Showroom will display actual usage images of the PV5 in the form of artwork. The Kia Ad Gear exhibition will present a platform that enables customers to install a variety of modular accessories inside the PV5 according to their preferences.

A Kia representative stated, "As a brand leading PBVs that represent the future of mobility, we plan to ensure that customers can vividly experience the diverse usability of the PV5 at the exhibition."
