Hana Bank announced on the 2nd that it held the 'Korea-Vietnam Children's Day' event at Hana Financial Group's Myeong-dong headquarters in celebration of Vietnam Children's Day (June 1).
This event was the first cultural event held following the 'Business Agreement for Providing Financial Education to Vietnamese Residents and Supporting the Activities of the Vietnamese Community Association,' which was signed between Hana Bank and the Vietnamese Community Association in Korea in May. It was designed to provide economic and financial education to children from multicultural Vietnamese families living in Korea and to create a 'space for learning and communication' to help strengthen family bonds.
On this day, Hana Bank invited a total of about 180 parents and children from multicultural families and offered a variety of cultural and educational programs, including: ▲ the children's economics musical 'Jack's Magic Wallet,' ▲ a cake-making experience, and ▲ a Vietnam Children's Day quiz competition.
In particular, the children's economics musical 'Jack's Magic Wallet' is Hana Bank's flagship financial education program for children, designed to help form sound economic habits such as saving, spending, and sharing at a child's level. It received an enthusiastic response from the multicultural families who participated in the event.
An official from Hana Bank's Foreign Exchange Customer Marketing Department stated, "As this was the first cultural event prepared after the business agreement with the Vietnamese Community Association in Korea, we hope it was a meaningful and beneficial time for the children," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to actively support multicultural and foreign families not only in financial matters but also in various other fields to help them settle stably in Korean society."
Meanwhile, Hana Bank provides customized financial services for foreign customers, including: ▲ 16 Sunday branches nationwide, ▲ a dedicated counter for foreigners at the Myeong-dong Easy One Center, and ▲ exclusive insurance services for foreign workers through the Hana EZ app, which supports 16 languages.
