Benefits Available with Discount Code Entry Until August 31
No Combined Discounts... Identity Verification Required
Air Premia announced on June 2 that it is launching a discounted airfare promotion for military personnel and their families.
The promotion offers up to 13% off base fares on eight routes: Honolulu, Los Angeles (LA), New York, San Francisco, Bangkok, Narita, Danang, and Hong Kong. The offer is valid until August 31.
The discount applies to active-duty military personnel and reservists within six months of discharge. Career military personnel (including cadets and officer candidates), military civilian employees, and Ministry of National Defense officials are also eligible. Their spouses and direct ascendants or descendants can also receive the discount.
By entering the discount code 'YPMILPP' on the official Air Premia website, customers will automatically receive a 10% to 13% discount on base fares for each route. This promotion cannot be combined with other discounts.
Identity verification is required to receive the discount. If tickets are issued at least one week before departure, customers can submit proof of eligibility through the chat support function on the Air Premia website. For tickets issued within one week of departure, passengers can present their identification documents at the airport check-in counter on the day of departure to receive their boarding pass after on-site verification.
Accepted forms of identification include the Millipass application, the Defense Family mobile certificate app on the Armed Forces Welfare Portal, a discharge certificate or leave certificate, and an official government ID bearing the Minister of National Defense's seal. When traveling with family members, a certificate of family relationship must also be submitted.
An Air Premia representative stated, "We have prepared this discount program to express our gratitude to military personnel and their families for their dedication to the country," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide more benefits so that more customers can travel comfortably in the future."
