Eugene Investment & Securities and Runner Station Launch "Find My Running Pace" Program

Eugene Investment & Securities and Runner Station Launch "Find My Running Pace" Program

Eugene Investment & Securities, the financial affiliate of Eugene Group (Chairman Yoo Kyung Sun), announced on June 2 that it will operate the "Find My Running Pace" program in partnership with "Runner Station," a facility managed by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, to support healthy and enjoyable running for runners.

This program will be held over a seven-week period from June 9 to July 25 at the Yeouinaru Station Runner Station. It will take place every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be 12 sessions per day, each lasting about 20 minutes, and up to two people can participate in each session free of charge.

Participants will be able to determine their running pace through the "Harvard Step Test," which measures aerobic fitness, and will receive coaching on suitable training methods from professional trainers based on their results. All participants will receive a reflective band as a commemorative gift to ensure safe nighttime running.

The "Harvard Step Test" is a simple yet effective cardiorespiratory endurance assessment developed by researchers at Harvard University. By analyzing recovery heart rate after repeated stair-stepping movements, it quantifies individual aerobic capacity, making it a useful tool for both beginner and experienced runners to find their optimal running pace.

Under its brand message "Healthy Life, Healthy Investment," Eugene Investment & Securities has operated a variety of programs for runners. In April and May, it held the "Eugene Running Crew (ERC) Class" a total of seven times, with an average competition rate of 10.5 to 1 per session, demonstrating strong interest. In addition, the "Yeouido Running Certification Event" is currently underway.

This program was also planned as an extension of these activities. Eugene Investment & Securities began full-scale collaboration with Runner Station, operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, following the renaming of "Yeouinaru (Eugene Investment & Securities) Station" last year, and as a result, the two organizations are presenting this new program together.

Jeon Jong Yoon, Head of Brand Strategy at Eugene Investment & Securities, stated, "Anyone who enjoys running wonders, 'What is the right running pace for me?'" He added, "This program will be a great opportunity to scientifically diagnose and improve your running style." He continued, "Eugene Investment & Securities will continue to support a healthy lifestyle for runners through a variety of activities."

Meanwhile, registration for the "Find My Running Pace" program is currently open on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be submitted through the official Runner Station website or Eugene Investment & Securities' brand community, Eugene Live.
