On June 1 (local time), at the Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72, 7,569 yards) in Dublin, Ohio, USA, Scheffler carded a 2-under-par 70 in the fourth round of the PGA Tour Signature Event, the Memorial Tournament (total prize money $20 million), finishing with a four-shot victory at 10-under-par 278.

This marks his third win of the season and the 16th of his career, coming just two weeks after his victories at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the major PGA Championship. He earned a winner’s purse of $4 million (approximately 5.5 billion KRW). Scheffler has now claimed three titles in his last four tournaments, showcasing the dominance of the world number one. He also overtook Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland, $13,978,340) to become number one on this year’s money list with $14,588,697.

Scheffler started the final round with a one-shot lead and made three birdies (with one bogey). He reduced his score by one on the front nine with a birdie on the 7th hole (par 5), then immediately recovered a bogey on the 10th hole (par 4) with a birdie on the 11th hole (par 5). He added another birdie on the 15th hole (par 5), pulling away from his competitors. His power was evident as he made three birdies on the four par-5 holes, maintaining his top position with drives reaching up to 315 yards.

Ben Griffin (USA), who was aiming for back-to-back wins following last week's Charles Schwab Challenge, finished second at 6-under-par 282. He narrowed the gap to two shots by gaining a stroke over 16 holes, but faltered with a double bogey on the 17th hole (par 4).

Sepp Straka (Austria) finished third at 5-under-par 283, Nick Taylor (Canada) was fourth at 4-under-par 284, and Jordan Spieth (USA) tied for seventh at 1-under-par 287. Among Korean players, Im Sungjae improved by one stroke to finish tied for 16th at 1-over-par 289. Kim Siwoo shot an even-par 72 to finish tied for 31st at 5-over-par 293.
