Netflix's flagship series "Squid Game" will continue the intense confrontation between Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jungjae) and the Front Man (Lee Byunghun) in its third season.

On May 31 (local time), Netflix unveiled the main trailer for "Squid Game" Season 3 during the fan event "Tudum 2025" held in Los Angeles, USA.

In the trailer, the conflict between Seong Gi-hun, who believes in the goodness of humanity, and the Front Man, who distrusts people, becomes even more pronounced. Having lost a friend in Season 2, Seong Gi-hun cries out, "Why did you only let me live?" To this, the Front Man responds, "Number 456, do you still trust people?" Seong Gi-hun is seen wearing the black suit he wore in the final game of Season 1, raising questions about whether he will once again survive until the last game.

The event was attended by the main cast of the "Squid Game" series, including Lee Jungjae, Lee Byunghun, Park Sunghoon, Kang Aeshim, and Choi Seunghyun. Choi Seunghyun, who played Thanos and met his end in Season 2, remarked, "You might have been surprised to see me here, but I couldn't miss such an amazing occasion."

Lee Jungjae drew laughter from the audience by hinting that Younghee, the iconic character of "Squid Game," and the newly introduced Cheolsu doll are "not exactly nice." He also suggested that all stories will be wrapped up in Season 3, saying, "Every game must come to an end."

"Tudum" is a global fan event that Netflix has hosted since 2020. Cast members and creators of major titles participate to share exclusive videos and surprise news with fans before anyone else.
