The expected rainfall over the two-day period starting from the 2nd is about 5mm in eastern Gyeonggi, 5 to 10mm in Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, southern Chungcheongnam-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, and Jeollabuk-do, 5 to 30mm in the southern coast of Jeollanam-do, Busan, and the southern coast of Gyeongsangnam-do, 5 to 20mm in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and 10 to 60mm in Jeju Island.
On the 2nd, the entire country will remain mostly cloudy, but skies will gradually clear from late afternoon the following day. Morning lows are expected to range from 14 to 18 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 19 and 27 degrees Celsius.
From the 2nd, very strong winds of 30 to 60 km/h are expected in the outer southern seas of the West Sea, the outer southern seas of Jeju Island, and the outer eastern seas of the South Sea, with waves reaching heights of 1.5 to 3.5 meters. As a result, high seas advisories may be issued.
Gusty winds, thunder, and lightning are also expected, especially in the southern seas and around Jeju Island, so caution is advised to prevent maritime safety accidents.
