Local University Admission Officers to Share College Admission Information Directly
Over 400 Pre-registrations... On-site Registration Also Available
The Gwangju Office of Education announced on June 1 that it will hold this year’s second “Gwangju Admission Parents Academy” on June 9 at the Haeurum Hall of Chosun University.
This Parents Academy will be held under the theme “College Admission Stories from Local University Admission Officers.” Admission officers from local universities will directly introduce information that parents are curious about, including basic college admission information, admissions processes, academic departments, and academic systems.
The speakers will include Lee Hyerim, the first admission officer in the country and currently a college admissions support officer at the Gwangju Office of Education, as well as Ryu Yunhee from Gwangju National University of Education, Kim Minja from Chonnam National University, and Ko Eunae from Chosun University.
Parents who wish to participate can apply through the website of the Gwangju Office of Education Career and College Admission Support Center by June 2. On-site registration will also be available on the day of the event.
