This tour took place from May 30 to 31, featuring major tourist attractions such as the Andong International Convention Center (ADCO), Korea Culture Theme Park, Dosan Seowon, and Hahoe Village. The program was designed to blend tradition and modernity.
The first day of the event began with a welcome seminar at ADCO. Andong Mayor Kwon Ki-chang personally delivered a welcome speech, introducing Andong's history and future vision. Participants actively communicated through a Q&A session and networking opportunities.
Afterward, the influencers participated in traditional cultural programs such as hanbok experience and archery at the Korea Culture Theme Park, which has been designated as a "Korea Unique Venue." In the evening, they stayed at a hanok experience center within the Seonseonghyeon Cultural Complex, enjoying a daegeum performance and a talent show by the participants, fostering cultural exchange.
The second day's schedule began with a visit to Dosan Seowon, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Participants reflected on the scholarship and spirit of Toegye Yi Hwang and experienced Confucian culture. They then strolled along Wolyeonggyo Bridge to appreciate the natural scenery and enjoyed Andong's signature dish, Heotjesatbap, for lunch.
The final stop was Hahoe Village, where they watched a Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori performance and explored the village, experiencing the essence of traditional culture.
Participants commented that "Andong's tradition and nature harmonize impressively with modern facilities" and expressed their intention to "share Andong's charm with the world through their personal social media channels."
An official from Andong City stated, "This FAM tour served as an opportunity to showcase the competitiveness of Andong's MICE industry and to lay the foundation for global promotion. We will continue to enhance Andong's brand value by linking various tourism resources and experiential events."
The content produced during this tour will be distributed both domestically and internationally through the participants' social media channels, and it is expected to make a tangible contribution to promoting Andong's culture and tourism and enhancing the city's regional image.
