"Lee Jaemyung Lies as Easily as He Eats"
Targeting Lee's Family: "A Harmonious Family Is the Foundation of Success"
Kim Moonsoo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, criticized Lee Jaemyung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, saying, "He lies as easily as he eats," and added, "He should be permanently expelled from politics."
During a campaign rally in the Gangwon region on this day, Kim referred to Lee's trial for violating the Public Official Election Act and stated, "He was convicted of the 'lying offense' under the election law. What would happen to the country if such a person becomes president?"
He continued, "If he is innocent, why does he cover himself with bulletproof glass and wear a bulletproof vest? He claims he is innocent, yet insists that the prosecutors are the problem, and talks about impeaching prosecutors and abolishing the prosecution office." Kim added, "The 'jeok'(賊) in 'jeokbanhajang' means thief. 'Jeokbanhajang' refers to a thief taking away a policeman's baton and beating the officer with it," criticizing Lee.
Kim further stated, "He paralyzed the entire administration by impeaching anyone who seemed unwilling to follow his orders. That's why there is no one left to go meet President Trump of the United States. He cut off all the top leadership."
He went on to say, "If you vote for candidate number 1, it will immediately lead to a monstrous bulletproof regime and a dictator president. Don't come visit me in a mental hospital later, saying you were forced to ride that train."
Kim urged voters to participate in the main vote on June 3 next month, saying, "There are people who talk about democracy while voting for a bulletproof monster and a dictator president. Such people are called 'ttorai' (crazy people)."
Kim also said, "I have never once claimed to be single after getting married, not even when I was outside. During a TV debate, when I asked Lee Jaemyung, 'Did you say you were single even though you are married?', the actress Kim Busun cried and said, 'He is the one who pulled out the knife that was stuck in my heart all my life,' and declared, 'I will unconditionally vote for Kim Moonsoo.'"
He added, "If I become president, I want to pull out the knife unjustly stuck in people's hearts. I will work hard, push through high-speed railways and expressways, and promote regional development. I will not accept money or luxury bags as president. We will keep things clean, and I will be a clean president."
Regarding his wife, Seol Nanyeong, Kim said, "Some people point out that my wife did not graduate from college," and emphasized, "A person's wisdom does not necessarily come from academic background."
Targeting Lee's family, he said, "A harmonious family is the foundation of success in everything." He continued, "Some people use corporate credit cards themselves, their wives use corporate credit cards and get convicted, and their sons cause trouble with all kinds of foul language. There is nothing like that in my family," he stressed.
