On May 30, Hanchang, a KOSPI-listed company, announced that it will acquire 200,000 shares of Beat Interactive, a company specializing in the production of albums, music, and video content, for 2.5 billion KRW.
After the acquisition, Hanchang's ownership stake in Beat Interactive will become 100%. Hanchang plans to complete the share acquisition on June 9.
Hanchang stated that the purpose of this share acquisition is "business diversification."
