Up to 130,000 Won in Benefits with 'Haenam SseuriGo'
On May 30, the Haenam Cultural Tourism Foundation announced that it will launch the summer season of its incentive program for tourists visiting Haenam, titled 'Haenam SseuriGo - MeokGo JaGo JeulgiGo,' starting next month, just ahead of the peak summer vacation period.
'Haenam SseuriGo' is a support program that offers tailored benefits to individual tourists who stay at least one night in Haenam County. The program recruits participants for each season and provides support accordingly.

The program is open to groups of at least two tourists from outside the county who stay in Haenam for at least two days and one night. By submitting receipts for expenses incurred during their stay, participants can receive up to 100,000 won, depending on the amount spent.
In addition, the top 10 teams with the highest spending each season will receive points worth 30,000 won, which can be used at 'Haenam Miso,' the county's direct-operated shopping mall for agricultural and marine products. This brings the maximum possible benefit to 130,000 won.
During the spring season of 'Haenam SseuriGo,' held from March to May, a total of 60 teams participated, with registration closing early in mid-April due to high demand. Buoyed by this positive response, the upcoming summer season is also expected to attract significant interest. Applications for the summer season must be submitted to the Haenam Cultural Tourism Foundation at least three days prior to the intended visit.
A foundation representative stated, "As we approach the peak summer season, we aim to revitalize stay-type tourism and invigorate the local economy by offering differentiated incentives unique to Haenam, in line with the growing demand from individual tourists."
