On May 30, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency announced that it had selected 25 new employees for 2025 and held an appointment ceremony.

The recruitment process for new employees was conducted using a blind screening method based on the National Competency Standards (NCS), ensuring a fair procedure by eliminating discriminatory factors related to applicants' educational background, age, gender, and other characteristics.

As a result, 12 out of the total hires, accounting for approximately 48%, were selected from diverse social backgrounds, including individuals eligible for social equity programs, local talent, and high school graduates.

The new employees will begin with about one month of basic competency training, followed by job-specific professional training provided by the Korea Institute of Finance, and field training at the Inclusive Finance Integrated Support Center. After completing these training programs, they will be assigned to various departments and begin their practical duties.

Lee Jaeyeon, the president, stated, "We will continue to provide unwavering support so that our new employees can become reliable supporters for ordinary citizens and financially vulnerable groups." He added, "Through these efforts, the Korea Inclusive Finance Agency will faithfully fulfill its role as a safety net for inclusive finance by ensuring the stable supply of policy-based inclusive financial products and providing a variety of non-financial services."

Meanwhile, the agency plans to conduct an open recruitment for experiential youth internships in the second half of this year, aiming to offer young people experience in public institution work and support the enhancement of their employability.
